A letter from your past self lights up what you truly feel
Synopsis
No spoilers
Hideo, a forty-five-year-old who has lost both his job and his family, begins working at a company that delivers letters entrusted to a person's future self. He is assigned to a section that delivers directly to recipients the letters that could not be handed over, for example because of a change of address. Teaming up with his supervisor Kaito, he travels from place to place to deliver five letters in two weeks. As he meets people facing words they wrote themselves many years ago, Hideo, too, comes to look at the feelings he has left behind. A story of searching for a foothold for a fresh start through a dialogue between past and present.
